After a hard struggle to finish earliest episodes of The Walking Dead season four, I made it! Cheers, I deserve some recognation.
I know we're already at the half finale of season five, and I am late at so many levels. Sorry. I have a hard time because the earliest episodes to me are boring and slow. It gets better, though yes two or three episodes of The Governor made me struggle ever more. I must said this is the worst season of The Walking Dead, yet. I don't know about season five, but people said it is better.
I remember TWD as my favorite television series ever, before I started Game of Thrones. People said season three is already lame, but I enjoyed it neverthelessly. I don't think it's lame.
Season four, on the other hand, is the flop of the series so far. The writer decided to delay all the main events too much with minor things I don't find really entertaining. Though I love how they go deeper with some of the characters' past in the second half. Yes, I love to watch the bond between Daryl and Beth. (Thanks to major spoilers everywhere on the internet, I know I shouldn't be too happy.) I love Herschel just like you do but I think it's about time for TWD to kill a major character again. TWD goes too smooth for everyone; like why it's always the unknown characters got killed in this apocalypse world full of asshole like The Governor? I recognize only Herschel' death a major in TWD season four. We all want The Governor to die, so it doesn't count. I love some characters a lot and hate seeing them die, but sometimes it necessary to keep the show real. But maybe it's a Game of Thrones syndrome.
Well now I am off to the season five. Let's hope I don't regret what I'm saying with deaths here!
Cheers,
Michelle
