Bangkok Café Hoping (10 Cafés to Try in Bangkok!)

Finally, a post! Honestly, this long overdue post might have been there on my draft for some time now, screaming to be finished. My recent trip to Bangkok in November 2018 was especially pretty in pictures, because we dedicate big time in the cafe hopping--and because I have my own personal photographer Jen during this trip. I have to say, we make such a perfect guide&photographer combo!

Oh in terms of those nice cafes, Bangkok surely didn't disappoint! How they are taking cafes seriously can be compared of those in Jakarta. After all, we share so much similarities in everything too! Just like what I said during my last trip here, Bangkok is not really the one to chill and relax your mind on. In fact, it'll be crazier than most of your regular day, because there is so much to see, try, eat, and... shop. Girls, dedicate at least one day for Platinum shopping day and thank me later.

The Plot Twist

Sometimes I forget where did I come from, because life is easier when you forget. And I swear I want to be those kind of people who book a flight and never look back, always thinking about it, always dreaming about it.  Exhilarated by the ideas, but never really on the agenda. For some people running away is not a luxury to choose, there are attachments, incapability, and fear. Of course you can always say we just don’t have enough guts to do so, and maybe it’s right. No, it’s right. We are the inbetweens, too broken to be a dreamer, because we know how unfair the world works, because the things we have pushed ourselves through. Too hurt to face the truth, holding up too many bruises to act like you have it all figured out. Like you are expected to be. Like how the world goes on days by days talking about the misfortunes to feel grateful about themselves.
