The best thing about Bangkok is the food, but maybe it is the best thing about everywhere!
What To Eat?
---
1. Thai Food in Inter Restaurant
Thai Food is hip right now all over the world. Meanwhile, it's natural to google "best thai food in Bangkok" and get Inter Restaurant in the first page result. Inter Restaurant remains the most authentic humble restaurant in Siam Square for decades, or so does the raving food-bloggers wrote. It is nothing fancy, good food only kind of place. It provides all range of Thai cuisines from tom yum to fried pork to the mouthwatering scallop omelette in such an affordable price... and it's getting better and better. I had the best time. Definitely a must visit at any cost.

2. Mango Sticky Rice in Mango Tango & more
For the love of mango, this is the one thing I eat and eat and eat every single day during my trip because it's that good. It might be the national dessert of Thailand, and being the infamous land of the sweet, juicy mango surely help them to create the ultimate mango sticky rice.
Mango sticky rice is basically sold in every corner of Bangkok, but Mango Tango is one of the popular chain between youngster for a good reason. Their mango sticky rice has all sort of ice cream, cream, pudding, and everything to make it better. But if you want to taste the more authentic one, from what I ate, I can recommend one beside Go Ang (near Platinum Shopping Mall) & Ratchada Night Train Market, but everything else is basically all good.
Anyway, for some reason I don't understand I love the one in Mango Tango To Go stall the most (in Siam Square, across the Inter Restaurant block), compared to one in their cafe. But again, you could get a better picture in the cafe so here is the look of Mango Tango's mango sticky rice.

3. Tom Yum Noodle in Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodle
This is the best Tom Yum broth I've ever tasted in my life, enough said. Between the flavorful and tasty bites, it is a delicate of perfect noodle and fresh seafood mixed in. It is authentic and rich without giving too much you can't handle, even looking at the photo is making me drool. Although the place is relatively hidden in a neighbourhood small street, it is worth all the struggle and Google-mapping trouble.

4. Hainan Chicken Rice in Go Ang Kaomunkai Pratunam
It is one delicious Hainan Chicken Rice with delightful portion and incredible price, famous and always packed with people waitlisting. One portion of the dish cost you nothing more than 40THB or mere $1.6... which is mindblowing, if you ask me. It has less flavour compared to the usual chicken rice I've used to eat in Chinese restaurant, but I ended up loving the mildness in my tastebud.

5. Sweet desserts in After You
Thais are not shy with their irresistible sweet desserts, that's why After You is one big, popular cafe franchise around. It might be a Japanese-style Shibuya toast in freaking Bangkok and you don't feel like it, but all the luxurious melting chocolate would be hard to resist. It has many branches throughout Bangkok, so you'd see the beautiful toast basically everywhere before giving up. This Ferrero-Rocher toast is, by the way, killing it.
