Bangkok: Where To Go?

Apr 9, 2017

Bangkok is a lot of story to tell, and all those places vibrant and alive to be visited.
Where To Go?
---
1. Wat Arun & The Grand Palace
The breathtaking temples, of course! One of the biggest charm of Bangkok is how this modern metropolis is embracing their culture and heritage in the most alluring manner. Ever since the death of their former king, you could see all the memoriam photographs of him basically everywhere; in the local suburb and skyscraper, you name it.

Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn) is the local pride. It is a very beautiful place to have yourself be present at, with all the patterns and spiritual closure revolves in this Buddhist temple. The gold shimmering appeal of The Grand Palace is another story to be told, as I didn't pass the inspection to get in. Well, both temples state a dress code to be followed but The Grand Palace is very strict about it, so you might want to wear your basic long pants and sleeved tee, just to be sure.

2. Platinum Shopping Mall
Girls, embrace yourself. Platinum Shopping Mall is this shopping paradise all your friends have been talking about with mindblowing cheap clothing. Stuffs are mainly sold in one price throughout a store, and 200THB is like the basic price out here. They have a No Try policy so you might want to bring your own pants or tops to measure if you are not too sure. Guys, there are a few stores for you but it'd get too long and boring so you might want to look for a backup plan. Well, good luck!

3. Ratchada Night Train Market
Bangkok is famous for its night market, and it's not hard to see why! The so called night market is this amazing place with vibrant people and all the delicious foods also! Ratchada Night Train Market is absolutely my favorite one with all the amazing foods to try and various stuffs that keep you from walking fast. The seafood, cheese grilled scallop, and ultra-smooth fish are definitely the winner of all. Definitely would visit it again and again.

4. Chinatown
Yet another place to eat eat eat and never stop. Chinatown is this street full of food-stalls hauls from refreshing desserts to delicious noodles and eventually that infamous edible insects of Thailand. It is crowded for a good reason, you could sense the little room of movement and non-stop passerby, all that make Chinatown so lively.

5. Asiatique
Asiatique is home to the famous ladyboy show. Calypso! Unfortunately, photography is not allowed during the show. The whole area of Asiatique offers you a lot of stuffs to shop and of course, restaurant to eat. Yes, you couldn't really go somewhere without buying and eating here in Bangkok. Regardless, Asiatique remains one of the place a Bangkok first-timer should visit!
